Apple’s iPhones come with some great features, but they can also be prone to glitches and other issues. If you find yourself unable to get your iPhone working again, there are three easy tricks you can try that will have it back up and running in no time at all! Learn how to restore your iPhone to its factory settings with these three simple tricks.

Back up your data

If you're planning on restoring your iPhone, it's always a good idea to back up your data before doing so. There are two ways to do this: by syncing your device with iTunes or iCloud. iCloud can be accessed either via the iCloud website or through the Settings app on your device. Syncing with iTunes is done by plugging your phone into your computer and using a USB cable.

Let's take a look at how both methods work! To sync your iPhone with iTunes, connect it to the computer and click Back Up Now. Choose which files you want to back up - such as contacts, photos, calendars, notes and reminders - then click Sync.

The second method of backing up your iOS device is through iCloud.

Update your software

There are several different ways to update your iOS, but the easiest and most reliable way is by using iTunes. If you’re not sure how to do this, just connect your device with a USB cable and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you use iCloud, open up the settings app on your device and tap General > Software Update. You may need to enter your Apple ID and password if you have two-step verification enabled.  Uninstall third party apps: The next step in resetting your iPhone is removing any third-party apps that may be cluttering up its memory.

Erase your iPhone

Erasing your iPhone is a good idea if you are selling it, or if you need to replace the operating system for any other reason. To erase your phone, do the following:

1) Connect your device to a power supply and connect it with a USB cable. 2) Open the Settings app on the phone. 3) Select General from the list of options. 4) Select Reset from the list of options that appear under General. 5) Tap Erase All Content And Settings at the top of the screen to confirm that you want to erase all content on your phone. 6) Enter your passcode if prompted, then press Erase iPhone at the top right corner of the screen when ready.
