How to use iCloud

Assuming you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later, or a Mac with OS X Lion 10.7.5 or later:

Open Settings and tap iCloud.
If you're using iOS 7 or later, tap to turn on each of the apps that you want to use with iCloud. If you're using iOS 6 or earlier, scroll down and tap Storage & Backup, then scroll down and tap to turn on each of the apps that you want to use with iCloud.
Tap Done.
Now when you add content to these apps on one device, it automatically appears on your other devices.

How to store photos on iCloud

Assuming you have an iPhone and iCloud account, storing photos in iCloud is easy:

1. Open the Photos app and go to the Albums tab.
2. Tap on the album containing the photos you want to store in iCloud (e.g., Camera Roll).
3. Tap Select in the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Tap each photo you want to store in iCloud. A blue checkmark will appear over each selected photo.
5. Tap the Share icon (the square with an upward-pointing arrow) in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
6. Tap Save to Files in the share sheet that appears. If you don't see Save to Files, scroll to the end of the share sheet and tap More, then toggle Save to Files on .
7. In the next screen, select a location for saving your photos (e.g., iCloud Drive). You can also create a new folder here by tapping Make New Folder at the bottom of the screen.
8. Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen when you're done selecting a location or creating a new folder . Your photos will now be stored in iCloud!
